Richemont is hiring a Regional Controller in Hong Kong to lead regional finance, reporting and controls for its luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead regional financial reporting and consolidation, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with group accounting standards and applicable local GAAP/IFRS.
- Drive budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes for the region and present actionable analysis to commercial leadership.
- Own month‑end and year‑end close activities for regional entities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Design, implement and monitor internal controls and governance frameworks to mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Coordinate statutory and internal audits, liaising with external auditors and local tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Partner with commercial, operations and HR stakeholders to provide financial insight, margin analysis and decision support for store and channel performance.
- Manage, mentor and develop a small regional finance team; define objectives, workflows and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; advanced degree desirable.
- Demonstrable technical knowledge of IFRS and local financial reporting requirements.
Skills
Experience
Significant progressive finance experience, ideally including multi‑entity controlling or regional finance responsibility within luxury retail, consumer goods or a multi‑brand environment; proven track record of managing close, reporting and control processes across jurisdictions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional accounting qualification preferred.
