Richemont is hiring a Real Estate Director in Singapore to lead portfolio strategy, leasing and capital projects for its luxury maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the real estate strategy for Singapore (and local SEA responsibilities as required), aligning property decisions with brand positioning and commercial objectives.
- Manage the local property portfolio, including site selection, lease negotiations, renewals, relocations and disposals to optimise occupancy costs and brand presentation.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of capital projects and store fit-outs, coordinating design, procurement, contractors and budgets to ensure timely, on-brand execution.
- Control and report on CAPEX and OPEX budgets, perform financial analysis and contribute to business cases, ROI assessments and long‑term portfolio planning.
- Ensure legal, regulatory and landlord compliance across all properties and maintain close collaboration with Legal, Finance, Retail, Procurement and HR stakeholders.
- Select, manage and evaluate external advisors, landlords and contractors; drive supplier performance and cost efficiencies through robust contract management.
- Build and lead a small local real estate team or external network, providing coaching, performance management and cross-functional influence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., MRICS) preferred.
- Proven track record of strategic real estate leadership within retail, luxury goods or premium hospitality environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience in lease negotiation, financial modelling and capital project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, contract negotiation and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a matrix organisation and to balance global policy with local market requirements.

Typically 10+ years of progressive real estate experience with at least 5 years in senior or managerial roles, preferably within retail, luxury goods, hospitality or a related field, including proven experience negotiating commercial leases and delivering store projects.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Engineering or a related field; master’s degree or professional real estate qualification (e.g., MRICS) preferred.
