Richemont seeks a Managing Director in São Paulo, Brazil to lead market operations, P&L and omnichannel growth for its maisons.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own full P&L accountability for Richemont’s businesses in Brazil and translate group strategy into local commercial plans to deliver sustainable top‑line growth and margin expansion.
- Define and execute omnichannel retail, wholesale and distribution strategies, managing flagship stores, wholesale partnerships and e‑commerce initiatives to optimise brand positioning and customer experience.
- Lead and develop a cross‑functional country leadership team (sales, retail operations, marketing, client services, finance, HR) to ensure high performance, talent succession and cultural alignment with maison standards.
- Build and sustain key relationships with wholesale partners, distributors, local authorities, and high‑value clients; represent the group externally and negotiate strategic commercial agreements.
- Establish market KPIs, budgeting and forecasting processes; monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions to meet targets and compliance requirements.
- Drive brand and marketing initiatives in market, ensuring consistency with maison DNA while adapting activations to local consumer behaviour and regulatory context.
Qualifications
- Proven senior leadership with full P&L responsibility, ideally within luxury goods, watches, jewellery or premium fashion.
- Track record of successfully managing multi‑channel distribution (retail, wholesale, digital) and partner networks in Latin America.
- Commercially astute with strong financial literacy, budgeting and KPI governance.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills; ability to represent the group with discretion and executive presence.
- Fluency in Portuguese and professional proficiency in English is strongly preferred.

Experience
Senior executive experience (typically 10+ years) leading operations, commercial functions or country management roles within luxury goods, premium fashion, watches or jewellery markets, with demonstrable results in revenue growth, margin management and team development.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance or related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
