Richemont Industrial Engineering Intern

Richemont is a Swiss-based luxury goods group composed of multiple maisons renowned for fine jewellery, watches and leather goods (including Cartier, Montblanc and other maisons). 1. Support industrial engineering and manufacturing teams with data collection, analysis and reporting to identify process inefficiencies.
2. Conduct time studies, workflow mapping and process capability assessments to quantify improvement opportunities.
3. Assist in the design and implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives, standard work documentation and continuous improvement pilots.
4. Prepare visual management materials, performance dashboards and presentations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
5. Contribute to pilot projects—including tooling, line balance and workstation ergonomics—under senior engineer supervision.

1. Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a closely related discipline.
2. Strong quantitative aptitude with demonstrated coursework or projects in statistics, operations research or process engineering.
3. Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodology (Kaizen, 5S, value‑stream mapping).
4. Proficiency with spreadsheet analysis and data visualisation tools; familiarity with CAD and manufacturing software is desirable.
5. Effective communicator with the ability to present technical findings to multidisciplinary teams.

Internship-level role; prior academic project work or a campus/industry placement in manufacturing, process improvement, or operations is preferred. No extensive professional experience required.

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
