Richemont Cost Control Intern

1. Support month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including preparation of journals and reconciliations.
2. Perform variance analyses on costs and margins and prepare clear, actionable commentary for finance managers.
3. Compile and distribute regular cost and performance reports to regional and brand stakeholders.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and accruals processes; update models and trackers as required.
5. Contribute to cost allocation and cost‑centre analysis to improve transparency across business units.
6. Join ad‑hoc projects to streamline reporting, automate workflows and enhance financial controls.
7. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners (commercial, supply chain, operations) to validate cost drivers and support decision making.
8. Maintain and improve internal documentation, templates and reporting packs used by the controlling team.

1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
2. Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings succinctly to non‑financial stakeholders.
4. Proactive approach to problem solving and comfort working in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
5. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.

Internship‑level role; academic coursework in accounting or finance is required. Prior internship or part‑time experience in finance, accounting or retail finance is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
