Officine Universelle Buly — Paris: Management Control Intern (Operations) internship starting July 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and implement KPIs to increase the reliability of gross margin components, with a primary focus on inventory-related metrics.
  • Validate and track monthly stock valuation and explain month‑over‑month variances.
  • Monitor and challenge production purchasing to ensure accurate cost capture and margin control.
  • Track and report stock depreciation and provisioning; propose adjustments where necessary.
  • Design and deploy internal control checkpoints related to inventory processes.
  • Support analysis of retail sales and store performance across the network.
  • Participate in subsidiary controlling activities for month‑end closes and forecasts (UK, Hong Kong, Italy, Germany, Japan).
  • Deliver ad‑hoc financial analyses to support operational and strategic decision‑making.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting or Business School with a finance specialization.
  • Previous internship or first experience in controlling or audit is required.
  • Autonomous and able to integrate quickly into cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly rigorous, strong analytical mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced command of Excel and proficient use of PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in French with solid working proficiency in English.
