LVMH Senior Accountant

- Lead the month-end process, including resource planning, ledger closing, and balance sheet reviews.
- Provide detailed P&L analysis and variance investigations to management and headquarters.
- Act as the Finance Systems Key User for SAP, Concur, and CEGID.
- Drive the end-to-end budget and forecasting cycle, ensuring accurate reporting to HQ/APAC.
- Act as a strategic Finance Business Partner for Marketing, HR, and CAPEX, providing spend analysis and P&L simulations.
- Support Brand Managers with P&L performance insights and project accounting.
- Manage the annual financial audit and preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Oversee tax compliance, including Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, FBT, Payroll Tax, and BAS.
- Maintain General Ledger accuracy and oversee complex reconciliations.
- Champion internal control frameworks and update local finance policies.
- Identify and implement process improvements and formalize documentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, overseeing task delegation and quality control.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as directed by the Finance Manager.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and complex accounting matters.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and supporting business decision-making.
- Sound understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, tax obligations, and audit support.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel, with the ability to manage and reconcile large datasets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis.
