LVMH Receiving Manager

- Oversee the inspection of incoming shipments to verify quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, HAZMAT guidelines, and customs requirements.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to resolve discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain accurate records of received goods, including documentation for regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the receiving team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Analyze and report on receiving metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the inventory management team to ensure seamless integration of received goods into the warehouse system.
- Ensure the safety and security of the receiving area, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all receipts are properly put away within established service guidelines.
- Follow all DDC SOPs and assist in the creation of new ones as necessary.
- Ensure KPIs are reviewed and action plans are developed and implemented.
- Work closely with the engineering team and Director of Operations on driving productivity improvement plans.
- Maintain cross-training records of all personnel in all functions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role in a Distribution Center.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS, preferably with Manhattan Associates).
- Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written required.
- Ability to coach and develop management staff and to deal with difficult conversations.
- Understanding and driving a culture of continuous improvement using metrics and visual management.
- Significant attention to detail in safety, recording, logging, and inspecting.
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of computer software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, email, and internet.

Minimum of 5-7 years in a related role within a Distribution Center environment.
The salary range is $100,000-$110,000, with flexibility for exceptional expertise and performance.
