Givenchy Intern - Collection Purchasing Assistant

- Support the Sourcing/Development team in fabric selection, availability requests, and verification of prices, minimums, deadlines, and certifications.
- Monitor the purchasing and supply of fabrics for prototypes, mock-ups, and SMS, ensuring adherence to budget and collection timelines.
- Organize material dispatches based on factory needs for model launches.
- Ensure up-to-date invoicing of orders and development services via ESKER/order table.
- Participate in fabric allocation processes (Fabric to Sketch).
- Assist in managing collection stock and inventory of carry-over materials.
- Contribute to fabric extraction from PLM for pre-purchase meetings.
- Create material codes and update PLM with weight, composition, price, minimums, deadlines, technical sheets, and customs codes.
- Centralize fabric traceability information in compliance with AGEC law and LVMH LIFE 360° program.
- Collect technical specifications of fabrics and coordinate with the quality manager on potential material tests.
- Enrollment in a higher education program in textile engineering, fashion school, business school, or equivalent university program with material knowledge.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Dynamic and organized with strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with PLM systems is a plus.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute within an ambitious fashion house.
No prior professional experience required, suitable for beginners.
Enrollment in a recognized higher education program.
