- Develop CNC programs based on technical drawings and specifications, ensuring adherence to productivity and quality standards.
- Update and enhance existing CNC programs to optimize machining processes.
- Select optimal machining methods in collaboration with the workshop manager.
- Document and explain program functionalities for clarity and efficiency.
- Define and implement production standards, ensuring compliance with established machining processes.
- Collaborate closely with fellow programmers and the workshop manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Respond promptly to production needs, making necessary program modifications.
- Propose and validate improvements with the workshop manager and/or methods manager.
- Work in tandem with Quality Methods to establish Ellisetting programs.
- Make program adjustments and perform CNC settings without presets.
- Adjust parameters based on the first piece to validate the machining process.
- Ensure formalization of processes and programs.
- Provide training to production personnel.
- CFC in Polymechanics or equivalent qualification.
- Additional training in CNC programming, such as Alphacam.
- Proficiency in Pro/Engineer software.
- Knowledge of ISO and Heidenhain codes.
- Advanced CNC programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to train and mentor production staff.
Experience in CNC programming and machining in a manufacturing environment is required.
CFC in Polymechanics or equivalent qualification.
