Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational and organizational aspects of measurement tools, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Program and oversee the production control on measurement machines.
  • Define and implement validation strategies for measurement tools.
  • Inventory, monitor, and calibrate metrological equipment used in production.
  • Develop and enforce metrological documentation.
  • Research, analyze, evaluate, and validate new metrological investments.
  • Maintain metrological liaison with the industrialization methods department.
  • Train GMM support staff in the management and use of measurement tools.
  • Define, execute, and maintain measurement programming standards for 2D and 3D automatic machines.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in metrology within a production environment.
  • Strong understanding of measurement tool validation strategies.

Skills

Proficiency in programming and controlling measurement machines. Ability to develop and implement metrological documentation. Competence in training staff on measurement tool management.

Experience

Significant experience in a metrology role, preferably within the luxury or precision industries.

Education

Degree in Metrology, Engineering, or a related field.
