Chanel Stock Assistant

- Receive, inspect and process incoming deliveries; verify quantities and condition against delivery notes and invoices.
- Maintain accurate stock records and support regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to luxury retail standards, including labeling, tagging and safe storage of merchandise.
- Replenish sales floor inventory promptly and collaborate with visual merchandising to ensure product presentation meets brand guidelines.
- Prepare stock transfers between stores or to the central warehouse and manage returns and exchanges following company procedures.
- Operate handheld scanners and basic inventory equipment; escalate discrepancies to store management and assist in reconciliation.
- Support loss-prevention efforts by adhering to security protocols and documenting any irregularities.
- Assist sales and client advisors with product availability checks and backstage preparation for client appointments or events.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending and prolonged standing in a stockroom environment.
- Basic numeracy and the ability to follow written procedures and inventory documentation accurately.
- Proactive communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced store team.
- Reliability, punctuality and flexibility to support retail opening hours and occasional peak-period demands.

- Basic IT literacy for inventory systems (data entry and handheld scanner usage)
Preferred: 1+ year of experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or logistics operations; experience in luxury retail or high-end fashion environments is advantageous.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail or supply-chain disciplines is a plus.
