Chanel Management Control Intern — Artistic Direction, Fragrances & Beauty

1. Support the Artistic Direction finance team in the preparation and consolidation of monthly management reports and budget trackers.
2. Monitor project and campaign budgets for creative and production activities; record commitments and follow up on actual spend versus plan.
3. Perform variance analysis and prepare explanatory notes and dashboards for internal stakeholders and senior management.
4. Contribute to forecasting and reforecasting exercises, including scenario analysis and cash commitment planning.
5. Coordinate with Artistic Direction, Procurement and Accounting to ensure accurate recording of invoices, POs and cost allocations.
6. Produce clear, visually effective presentations and data visualisations for meetings with creative and commercial teams.
7. Maintain and improve reporting templates, processes and internal control documentation; support ad-hoc financial analyses.

1. Current enrolment in a Master’s programme or Grande École in Finance, Management Control, Accounting or equivalent.
2. Proven analytical rigour, strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confident use of PowerPoint for executive presentations.
4. Ability to synthesise financial data into concise insights and to communicate effectively with creative and finance stakeholders.
5. High level of organisation, autonomy and respect for confidentiality in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Previous internship experience in financial control, accounting, or finance is desirable; prior exposure to retail, luxury goods, cosmetics or FMCG environments is an advantage but not required.

Enrolled in a Master’s degree or equivalent programme in Finance, Management Control, Accounting, or Business School.
