Chanel Knitwear Production Coordinator

- Coordinate end-to-end production of knitwear collections, from prototype validation to final delivery, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
- Create and maintain production schedules, monitor lead times and update planners to meet collection deadlines and commercial priorities.
- Liaise with internal teams (design, product development, quality, sourcing) and external partners (ateliers, knitting mills, subcontractors) to resolve production issues and accelerate problem-solving.
- Validate technical files, working closely with sample rooms to approve fittings, yarn counts, gauges and finishing specifications.
- Track order status, shipments and delivery windows; escalate risks and propose mitigation plans to avoid delays.
- Control costs by following consumption, yield and quality metrics; report on production KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with the brand's quality, traceability and sustainable sourcing requirements across the knitwear supply chain.
- Proven experience managing knitwear production within fashion or luxury apparel environments.
- Strong understanding of knitwear construction, yarns, gauges, finishing techniques and quality criteria.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple collections and priorities simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with experience producing production reports and tracking KPIs.
- Effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal partners.

Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in knitwear production or production coordination within fashion, preferably in luxury or premium womenswear.
Degree or diploma in fashion technology, textile engineering, apparel production, or equivalent professional experience.
