Chanel Head of Program – ORION POS

1. Oversee the comprehensive planning and governance of the ORION POS programme, including business case preparation, governance review, budget planning, and resource management.
2. Lead the ORION programme team with strong leadership skills, fostering collaboration and supporting team development.
3. Ensure alignment and communication with global, regional, and local IT counterparts to maintain transparency and alignment on project plans and timelines.
4. Manage the overall ORION programme project plan, integrating various workstreams and managing inter-dependencies, risks, and issues.
5. Execute the ORION programme's technical delivery, coordinating project activities such as design workshops, training, testing, and post go-live support.
6. Collaborate with change leaders and business leaders on stakeholder management and communication plans.
7. Coordinate with POS product owners and other technical leads to drive effective collaboration and foster a positive work environment.
8. Support other retail tech initiatives that intersect with the ORION programme.
9. Manage the transition from project execution to ongoing support and maintenance for the ORION POS solution.
10. Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.

1. 15+ years of experience in retail system design, delivery, and support.
2. Proven leadership skills with the ability to support and develop teams.
3. Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management.
4. Experience in managing senior stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical language.
5. Strategic, tactical, and operational thinking capabilities.
6. Experience in managing end-to-end digital/IT project life cycles with multiple stakeholders.
