Chanel seeks a Fragrance & Beauty Advisor in King of Prussia, PA — deliver luxury beauty consultations and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized fragrance and skincare consultations, tailoring recommendations to individual client needs and preferences.
- Drive retail performance through achievement of sales targets, conversion and average transaction value metrics.
- Provide make-up application and product demonstrations to educate clients and promote sampling and trial.
- Build and maintain a curated client portfolio through proactive clienteling, follow-up outreach and appointment management.
- Ensure immaculate visual merchandising and product presentation in accordance with Chanel brand guidelines.
- Execute transactions, returns and gift-wrap services using the point-of-sale system while maintaining accurate sales records.
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment and receiving activities; participate in stocktakes as required.
- Adhere to hygiene, regulatory and sampling protocols specific to fragrance and cosmetics.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience in prestige beauty or luxury cosmetics, ideally within a high-end brand environment.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets and cultivating repeat clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of direct retail experience in prestige beauty, luxury cosmetics or high-end fragrance sales, with demonstrated client development and measurable sales results.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology or aesthetics certification preferred but not required.
