Chanel Accounting Analyst

- Record journal entries for income, expenses, accruals, and adjustments.
- Classify transactions according to the official chart of accounts.
- Ensure all accounting records are properly supported and documented.
- Manage monthly provisions, amortizations, and recurring accounting entries.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
- Analyze account balances and investigate discrepancies or irregularities.
- Prepare working papers and supporting documentation for audits.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable ledgers in coordination with other departments.
- Assist in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
- Calculate and post depreciation, accruals, and provisions.
- Ensure compliance with cut-off procedures and accounting standards.
- Collaborate in the preparation of financial statements and internal reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings and regulatory reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trail of accounting records.
- Support the implementation of internal controls and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
- Knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS or local GAAP).
- Familiarity with tax reporting and statutory requirements.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration across departments.
2–4 years in an accounting role, preferably in a corporate or multinational environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
