Zenith Movement Design and Improvement Engineer

- Manage technical modification requests and analyze production issues to propose and document solutions for improving constructions, components, or assemblies.
- Act as the technical reference for modification requests, supporting industrialization and quality assurance, and develop CAD adaptations accordingly.
- Propose and implement continuous improvement solutions for existing products.
- Create detailed plan dossiers in accordance with ISO standards and support draftsmen/draftswomen.
- Assist in the industrialization and procurement processes during the manufacturing of developed components.
- Design entire or partial calibers and complications, adapting constructions to series requirements.
- Participate in product coordination meetings with project managers and purchasing to ensure prototype and pre-series development aligns with movement and casing requirements.
- Collaborate with laboratory watchmakers on prototype assembly and fine-tuning, contributing to quality assurance and defining procedures to validate proposed technical solutions.
- Technician degree in microtechnology with a specialization in watchmaking construction or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 7 years experience in a mechanical watch manufacture with complications.
- Expertise in watchmaking construction and functional GPS dimensioning.
- Proficiency in CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Familiarity with production means and industrial processes in a large-scale manufacture.
- Knowledge of Creo and Windchill is advantageous.
- Methodical and rigorous approach to task execution, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Autonomous with strong analytical skills for effective project management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, dynamism, and natural leadership.
A minimum of 7 years in a mechanical watch manufacture specializing in complications is required.
