Zenith Movement Components Buyer

- Plan and secure availability of movement components using MRP and sales forecasts to meet production schedules and quality standards.
- Manage inventory levels and economic order quantities, optimizing stock costs and maintaining accurate product master data in the ERP.
- Create, issue and follow up purchase orders; monitor supplier performance, delivery lead times, advances and delays.
- Coordinate component provisioning for subcontracting and prioritize receipts and urgent quality inspections.
- Maintain regular supplier communication, share demand forecasts and participate in business reviews to resolve supply issues.
- Support cross-functional stakeholders (project managers, receiving, accounting, central stock, database teams) during new product launches and corrective actions.
- Diploma in Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Several years' professional experience as a purchaser/planer in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proven proficiency with ERP systems (experience with Pro-Concept is an asset) and strong Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, rigor and the ability to adapt to unforeseen events.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Several years of hands-on experience in purchasing or supply planning within an industrial/manufacturing setting, with direct responsibility for component sourcing, order follow-up and inventory optimisation.
Diploma in Logistics, Purchasing, Supply Chain or related field.
