Yves Saint Laurent Merchandising Coordinator Men's Shoes

- Oversee the development, monitoring, and strategic analysis of Men's Shoes collections.
- Develop and present the collection plan biannually.
- Ensure the collection plan is balanced in terms of function, price, and seasonality.
- Participate in collection planning and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Negotiate industrial costs and define sales prices across currencies, ensuring margin compliance.
- Monitor collection size and develop a coherent pricing structure.
- Commit to pre-purchases and delivery groups ahead of showroom events.
- Ensure collection budget compliance in collaboration with the studio and development teams.
- Supervise operational tasks for successful showroom campaigns and produce essential sales tools.
- Define and present the Master Order for retail.
- Develop strategic and product briefs.
- Brief all showroom participants.
- Monitor showroom purchases, tracking daily sales and top styles/SKUs.
- Gather client and regional feedback on pricing and products.
- Organize standardization meetings with studio, development, and production teams.
- Collaborate with Retail Merchandising and Merchandise Planning to track Men's Shoes performance.
- Engage with other departments for performance tracking (Image, Marketing, VIP, Press, Legal, etc.).
- Maintain market connection through travel and regular communication with Retail and Wholesale teams.
- Monitor competition regarding offerings, pricing, campaigns, and runway shows.
- Ensure delivery compliance with Distribution and Production teams.
- Approve reorder requests and identify opportunities to optimize overall performance.
- Ensure assortment balance and coherence by monitoring destocking and COV offerings.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of successful experience in a luxury/fashion house or brand, with a focus on footwear.
- Fluency in French and English; proficiency in Italian is highly appreciated.
- Strong product sensitivity and market knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and specialized tools, including Power BI and PLM.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with a high degree of adaptability.
5-7 years of experience in a luxury or fashion house, specifically in footwear merchandising.
Master's degree in Marketing/Merchandising or equivalent from a university or business school.
