1. Develop and program tool paths for small component machining on a 5-axis CNC machine.
2. Define machining strategies, fixtures, and cutting tools in collaboration with the CNC Machining Setter.
3. Participate in the redesign of CAD models and dimensioned plans for machining.
4. Collaborate with CAD constructors to review 3D models and component plans.
5. Manage the industrialization schedule of machined parts, including machining ranges and fixture design.
6. Program CAM for tool paths and oversee fixture fabrication, both internally and externally.
7. Select cutting tools and manage contacts with carbide suppliers in collaboration with the Setter.
8. Determine cutting parameters and maintain the cutting tool and parameter library in the CAM software.
9. Read and modify NC programs in ISO code.
10. Inspect machined parts and provide technical support for machining.
11. Read dimensioned ISO GPS plans and define appropriate control methods.
12. Utilize workshop control tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and profile projectors.
13. Provide technical support to the Setter for CNC 5-axis setup and program adjustments.

1. Proficiency in CAM programming and CNC machining.
2. Experience with 5-axis CNC machines.
3. Ability to read and interpret ISO GPS dimensioned plans.

1. Advanced knowledge of CAM software and CNC programming.
2. Strong understanding of machining processes and cutting tool selection.
3. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Several years of experience in CAM programming and CNC machining, particularly with 5-axis machines, is required.

A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
