1. Program tool paths (CAM) and participate in the machining of small components on a 5-axis CNC machine.
2. Define machining strategies, fixtures, and cutting tools.
3. Participate in the redesign of CAD models and dimensioned plans for machining.
4. Collaborate with CAD designers to review 3D models and component plans.
5. Manage the industrialization schedule of machined parts, including machining processes and fixture design.
6. Determine machining processes and strategies.
7. Design and model necessary fixtures in CAD for various machining phases.
8. Create CAM programs for tool paths.
9. Design fixtures and oversee their production internally or externally.
10. Select cutting tools and manage contacts with carbide suppliers.
11. Determine cutting parameters and manage the CAM software library of cutting tools and parameters.
12. Read and modify NC programs in ISO code.
13. Inspect machined parts and provide technical support for machining.
14. Read dimensioned ISO GPS plans and define appropriate inspection methods.
15. Use workshop inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and profile projectors.
16. Provide technical support to the CNC operator for setup and inspection of parts and program corrections.

1. Proficiency in CAM programming
2. Knowledge of CNC 5-axis machining
3. Ability to read and modify NC programs in ISO code
4. Familiarity with CAD software
5. Strong understanding of machining processes and strategies
6. Experience with inspection tools and methods

Experience in CNC programming and machining, particularly with 5-axis machines, is required.
