Tiffany & Co. Senior Accountant - Consolidations & Reporting

- Reconcile third-party and intercompany sales and cost of sales across various reporting systems, requiring root cause investigation and collaboration with global markets and IT.
- Prepare and submit Revenue and Boutique Reporting deliverables for all global entities within the LVMH Group reporting tool.
- Provide support to global markets regarding the recording and systematic processing of sales and cost entries.
- Prepare financial statements, including those for the Company’s pension and 401(K) plans.
- Review statutory financial statements prepared by various subsidiaries.
- Prepare and submit all required U.S. Government and Canadian census filings.
- Support initiatives impacting revenue reporting, including executing testing procedures to ensure appropriate impacts on LVMH reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors and submit audit requests.
- Participate and lead initiatives to facilitate process improvements, including automation of procedures.
- Lead or participate in inter-departmental projects as requested by Management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 4+ years of public and/or private accounting experience, with some consolidation experience
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase, JD Edwards general ledger application or SyRUS, or the ability to learn financial systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and analytical skills
- Ability to interface with all levels of management as well as with external auditors
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Financial reconciliation and analysis
- Proficiency in financial management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Project management and process improvement
A minimum of 4 years in public and/or private accounting, with consolidation experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
The hiring range for this position is $92,000 - $110,000, dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
