- Maintain a physical security presence on the sales floor, interacting with customers to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience.
- Serve as a visual deterrent to shoplifting, robbery, and dishonest employee activity.
- Respond promptly to all emergency situations.
- Monitor daily activity on the sales floor to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
- Assist with key control as necessary.
- Support management and merchandising with the secure transport of jewelry from vault to caseline and vice versa during store opening and closing.
- Ensure all caseline drawers are locked and trash bins checked for merchandise during store closing.
- Assist the Security Supervisor in ensuring the safety of all employees during store opening and closing.
- Collaborate with branch management on security-related functions, including special events.
- Undertake other projects as assigned by the Security Supervisor or branch management.
- High School Diploma
- Basic computer skills
- Availability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Minimum 1 year of prior experience in a security-related position
- Strong observational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficiency in basic computer operations
- Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security-related role, with preference given to those with experience in a retail environment.
High School Diploma
