- Lead and develop the security team to meet the mission of the Global Protection Department.
- Promote the protection of employees, clients, and assets.
- Support security-related business needs in partnership with Security Managers.
- Ensure Global Protection Standards are maintained.
- Motivate the security team to focus on security culture drivers.
- Partner with Operations and Security Management to identify shrink reduction opportunities.
- Optimize security schedules for peak hours and events.
- Support Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management efforts.
- Ensure physical security systems and equipment are functioning properly.
- Conduct vulnerability evaluations as directed by Security Management.
- Enhance client relationships to drive loyalty and spend.
- Manage the security team with a customer-centric approach.
- Partner with store management for initiatives that enhance client experience.
- Coach staff to provide consistent and gracious customer greetings.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with clients and employees.
- Fluently bilingual in French and English
- Valid Security License
- High School Diploma
- Ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Highest level of integrity
- Strong computer skills
- Authorization to work in Canada
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Sense of urgency for problem identification and action
- Openness and ability to approach people and problems cooperatively
Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in a retail/security environment. One to two years of prior experience in a security-related position with an emphasis on customer service.
High School Diploma
