- Perform servicing on all orders according to Tiffany & Co. standards.
- Complete all craft work adhering to Tiffany quality and design standards, including reading and following repair instructions.
- Inspect orders for defects, perform specialty craft work such as complex setting and enameling.
- Meet or exceed productivity standards based on work mix and role.
- Maintain organized orders and workspace, ensuring adherence to due dates and secure handling of parts and materials.
- Conduct administrative duties including parts management, order tracking, and responding to inquiries.
- Engage with clients to address questions and assist with alteration needs.
- Develop knowledge of Tiffany & Co. products, including designers, collections, and repair techniques.
- Seek and apply new skills and techniques for quality, safety, or productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with coworkers, administration, and management for problem-solving and process improvement.
- Comply with all health and safety requirements, maintaining a safe workstation.
- Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the workshop, assisting in cleaning and maintenance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in jewelry repair and alterations.
- Experience in soldering, laser welding, and diamond setting.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently.
- Ability to inspire trust, fairness, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in standard jewelry techniques including soldering, laser welding, and stone setting.
- Deep knowledge of jewelry materials, including metal assay and gemstone identification.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Problem-solving and process improvement capabilities.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the jewelry industry.
Degree from a jewelry technical/design program preferred. Completion of Graduate Gemology degree or courses is advantageous.
