Tiffany & Co. IT Release Manager

- Create and maintain a comprehensive Release Calendar for Production and Non-Production environments, aiding teams in planning development and testing activities.
- Conduct release readiness reviews, de-conflict sessions, and post-mortems to manage risk and resolve issues affecting release scope, schedule, and quality.
- Provide proactive release health status updates, identifying risks and obstacles, and collaborating with team members to define and drive remediation activities.
- Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders in the release process, communicating plans, timelines, and requirements, while providing regular updates on progress and status.
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams to identify and implement improvements in the release process, including automation and CI/CD best practices.
- Manage release schedules and dependencies, considering third-party applications, defect backlogs, and infrastructure updates.
- Oversee the release landscape and environments management, including code synchronization and data synchronization.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in release management, including various release scheduling strategies.
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps practices such as automated deployment and regression testing.
- Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle, Agile practices, and project management principles.
- Experience in setting up Continuous Deployment/Integration/Delivery throughout the software engineering lifecycle.
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira.
- Ability to build and maintain effective partnerships.
- Strong negotiation skills within a matrix-run organization.
- Ability to interact positively with a diverse group of individuals and recognize key stakeholders.
- Authentic curiosity and learning agility to understand business needs and IT challenges.
- Desire and ability to mentor staff.
- Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
Minimum of 6 years in release management and 2 years in DevOps practices.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
The hiring range for this position is $134,810 - $158,600, dependent on skills and experience.
