Tiffany & Co. Gemstone Acquisition Analyst

1. Collaborate with management on the responsible procurement of gemstones, supplier communication, and pricing for assigned categories.
2. Review, manage, and communicate procurement changes in priorities and scope to cross-functional teams such as Product Development.
3. Ensure data integrity throughout the procurement process.
4. Collaborate with the Gemstone Grading Lab and Operations to eliminate bottlenecks and improve gemstone flow.
5. Partner with senior analysts and management to monitor and communicate priority orders to grading.
6. Ensure timely processing of payments to suppliers and address issues with management.
7. Align procurement responsibilities while maintaining inventory accuracy.
8. Support management in all aspects of responsible sourcing and sustainability.
9. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and assist in maintaining security and safety.
10. Partner with management to research and facilitate product development projects.
11. Ensure product samples meet parameters by accurately assessing samples.
12. Provide buying support for stone procurement as needed for launches.
13. Propose innovative solutions to project-related problems.
14. Develop and maintain Product Style Sheets for graders.
15. Partner with the grading team to provide guidance on grading parameters for new products.
16. Initiate call outs to procured gemstones/pearls to maintain feedback with cross-functional teams.
17. Maintain gemological knowledge of industry trends and developments.
18. Interpret complex design requests to provide gemstone re-cutting recommendations.

The hiring range for this position is $70,125.00 - $82,500.00, dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
