Fine Jewelry Polisher

1. Perform finishing and cleaning for new and customer-owned jewelry, watches, flatware, hollowware, and fancy goods.
2. Work with all common metals, including platinum, and gemstones.
3. Use standard techniques such as buffing, lapping, thrumming, satin finishing, sandblasting, hand polishing, ultrasonic and steam cleaning, and rhodium plating.
4. Complete all craft work according to Tiffany quality and design standards.
5. Inspect orders for defects and perform necessary repairs.
6. Maintain organized records of assigned orders and adhere to due dates.
7. Develop deep product knowledge and seek new skills and techniques.
8. Comply with health and safety requirements and maintain a safe workstation.
9. Assist in service center support and participate in special projects.

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum 2 years experience as a production or repair polisher, jeweler, or silversmith
3. Successful completion of a Tiffany & Co. polishing bench test
4. Verbal and written English language skills
5. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends

1. Deep knowledge of jewelry materials including gemstone identification
2. Ability to operate computer-operated technical equipment
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Proactive in skill development and collaboration

Minimum 5 years

High school diploma or equivalent

The hiring range for this position is $19 - $34/hr, dependent upon relevant skills and experience.
