- Consistently follow site safety procedures and promptly report incidents or hazards.
- Interpret blueprints and production artwork to fabricate three‑dimensional jewelry and hollowware to company QA tolerances.
- Perform soldering and annealing operations across multiple torch types and solder alloys, managing solder stop‑out and seam integrity.
- Execute fitting and cleanup of cast, die‑struck, machined, spun and hand‑fabricated components using files, burs, sanding belts and scotch stones.
- Operate and set up power equipment including draw bench, jump shears, band saw, disc and belt sander, power press, kick press, spinning lathe and machining lathe.
- Form hollow components (spouts, handles) using hydraulic press, wooden dies, hammers and stakes; hallmark items by hand.
- Minimize porosity in seams and castings using laser welding and appropriate filler wire; use rotary planisher, Swiss hammer and steel planishing hammers for finishing.
- Drill, tap and thread components using drill press and flex shaft to prepare mechanical fixtures for finishing and refurbishing.
- Organize work instructions and process documentation, capture in‑process images and assist in writing SOPs for new and existing products.
- Provide regular progress updates and estimated completion schedules to management; support the production schedule and assist on ancillary projects as skills develop.
- Maintain a professional, collaborative shop environment and support team tasks; participate in tours and filming as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (essential).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- Hands‑on metal fabrication experience or vocational training in metals/jewelry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving aptitude.
- Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate with the ability to document work and follow digital SOPs.
- Preferred: BFA/MFA in metals and jewelry or equivalent formal training; experience with laser welder and advanced CAD skills.
