1. Model, refine, and produce designs for handoff to Engineering, CAD team, and workshops.
2. Design and actualize concepts in collaboration with the Design team.
3. Create 3D CAD files, photo-realistic 2D presentation artwork, 2D technical artwork, design iterations, and size and color variations.
4. Ensure consistency of design and adherence to house codes across jewelry collections.
5. Collaborate with external vendors, the jewelry design and innovation workshop, and product development to execute design intent samples and resolve critical issues.
6. Adapt to changing priorities as directed by the design team and meet product development deadlines.
7. Oversee jewelry product category projects throughout the development lifecycle.
8. Communicate anticipated critical issues during the design concept phase that may impact design, manufacturability, and quality.
9. Attend and actively participate in department staff meetings.
10. Archive design materials in compliance with procedures.
11. Stay updated and proficient in CAD technology and development techniques.

1. BFA Degree required.
2. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Design for Manufacturing within the jewelry industry.
3. Thorough understanding of jewelry manufacturing techniques and materials.
4. Strong design skills with attention to detail and brand aesthetic codes.
5. Knowledge of rapid prototyping processes.
6. Expert skill-set in two or more of the following: Rhino, Modo, SolidWorks, T-Splines, Z-Brush, Adobe CS, KeyShot, and V-Ray.
7. Proficiency in Adobe CS including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
8. Experience in creating 2D and 3D technical artwork and specifications.
9. Strong analytical skills in design.
10. Solution-oriented with the ability to multitask.
11. Organized, flexible, and adaptive to change.
12. Excellent team player with strong verbal communication skills.
13. Ability to set and meet deadlines.

The hiring range for this position is $101,575 – $137,425, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
