- Model, refine, and produce designs for handoff to Engineering, CAD team, and workshops.
- Design and actualize concepts in collaboration with the Design team.
- Create 3D CAD files, photo-realistic 2D presentation artwork, 2D technical artwork, design iterations, and size and color variations.
- Ensure consistency of design and adherence to house codes across jewelry collections.
- Collaborate with external vendors, the jewelry design and innovation workshop, and product development to execute design intent samples and resolve critical issues.
- Adapt to changing priorities as directed by the design team and meet product development deadlines.
- Oversee jewelry product category projects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Communicate anticipated critical issues during the design concept phase that may impact design, manufacturability, and quality.
- Attend and actively participate in department staff meetings.
- Archive design materials in compliance with procedures.
- Stay updated and proficient in CAD technology and development techniques.
- BFA Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Design for Manufacturing within the jewelry industry.
- Thorough understanding of jewelry manufacturing techniques and materials.
- Strong design skills with attention to detail and brand aesthetic codes.
- Knowledge of rapid prototyping processes.
- Expert skill-set in two or more of the following: Rhino, Modo, SolidWorks, T-Splines, Z-Brush, Adobe CS, KeyShot, and V-Ray.
- Proficiency in Adobe CS including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience in creating 2D and 3D technical artwork and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills in design.

The hiring range for this position is $101,575 – $137,425, dependent on relevant skills and experience.
