Tapestry Manager, Footwear Technician

1. Support the operational strategy for all Tapestry Footwear products from prototype to final delivery.
2. Collaborate with the Sr. Director and cross-functional teams including Design, Merchandising, and Asia Teams.
3. Oversee development and fit specifications from initial concept to final product.
4. Manage communication between NY PD, cross-functional partners, and Factory/Service providers.
5. Review prototypes and final samples, preparing for development meetings.
6. Organize and manage the NY wear test program charts and sample distribution.
7. Create and update Construction Review Forms (CRF) and Tooling Review Forms (TRF).
8. Participate in research and development of new techniques and fits to support design and product innovation.

1. 5+ years of experience in footwear and technical development, preferably in luxury fashion shoes.
2. Basic knowledge of fit, paper patterns, lasts, materials, and footwear construction variations.
3. Experience working with footwear factories, both local and abroad, is a plus.
4. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects independently.
6. Understanding of footwear costing and ability to translate design sketches into prototypes.

5+ years of experience in footwear and technical development, preferably in luxury fashion shoes.

A diploma in footwear fashion & technology or footwear manufacturing experience. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field is a plus.

$85,000.00 to $110,000.00 Annually
