- Partner closely with the General Manager and Regional HR to define and execute the people strategy for Korea.
- Translate business priorities into actionable HR plans that enable growth, particularly in the retail sector.
- Drive organizational effectiveness and support change initiatives.
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and development programs to build strong internal pipelines.
- Strengthen leadership capabilities at all levels, with emphasis on retail frontline and mid-management.
- Coach and challenge leaders to foster a high-performance culture.
- Champion employee engagement and initiatives that promote collaboration, inclusivity, and brand values.
- Drive communications and feedback loops that ensure employee voice and well-being.
- Support managers in building strong, motivated, and connected teams.
- Manage complex employee relations issues and internal investigations with professionalism and risk awareness.
- Ensure compliance with Korean labor law and internal policies.
- Maintain a fair and consistent approach in handling workplace matters.
- Oversee HR operations, recruitment, compensation, and learning in partnership with Centers of Expertise.
- Lead and develop the local HR team to ensure strong execution and stakeholder management.
- Continuously improve HR processes and ways of working for greater impact.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role in retail or consumer-facing sectors.
- Background in luxury retail, especially within fashion, watches & jewelry, or cosmetics, is highly preferred.
- Strong track record in HR business partnering, organizational change, and talent development.
- Experience supporting retail network expansion or business transformation, including new store openings and workforce scale-up.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and maturity in handling confidential matters and navigating sensitive HR situations.
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in employee relations and Korean labor law.
- Fluency in Korean and English.
- Confident communicator and strong stakeholder manager.
- Skilled in working across functions and in matrix/global environments.
A minimum of 10 years in human resources, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within retail or consumer-facing sectors.
