Swatch Group Accounts Payable Accountant — Retail

1. Process and code supplier invoices for the retail network, ensuring timely and accurate posting in the ERP system.
2. Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery documentation, escalating and resolving discrepancies with stores and suppliers.
3. Prepare and execute supplier payments according to payment terms and internal controls; manage payment runs.
4. Perform regular supplier reconciliations and maintain supplier master data integrity.
5. Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to payables, including accruals and reporting.
6. Respond to supplier queries and liaise with retail store managers to resolve invoice and payment issues.
7. Ensure compliance with internal policies, VAT rules and local regulatory requirements; support audits when required.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2–4 years’ professional experience in accounts payable, preferably within retail or multi‑site operations.
3. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, invoice matching, reconciliations and month‑end routines.
4. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate supplier master data and to enforce internal controls.
5. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

1. SAP (accounts payable/finance modules) — experience preferred
2. Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data validation)
3. ERP system transaction posting and vendor reconciliation
4. Invoice matching (PO/invoice/GRN) and payment run preparation
5. Knowledge of VAT accounting and local tax/reporting requirements

2–4 years in accounts payable or general accounting, ideally within a retail environment or a multi‑brand organisation; experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree (Licence/Bachelor) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
