Sephora Vice President, HR Business Partner & Talent Acquisition — Retail

- Serve as strategic HR partner to Retail senior leadership; develop and execute people strategies aligned to business objectives and growth priorities.
- Lead and scale the Retail HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition functions to deliver consistent, high-impact HR solutions across stores and regional teams.
- Oversee end-to-end talent acquisition for Retail, including sourcing, recruitment strategy, and hire quality to attract diverse, high-calibre talent.
- Drive organization design, workforce planning, and enterprise HR initiatives that strengthen leadership capability and support retail transformation.
- Partner with Employee Relations and Labor Relations leaders to advise on performance management, employee relations, compliance and risk mitigation.
- Use people analytics and engagement insights to identify trends, shape proactive retention strategies, and improve employee experience across store networks.
- Build and mentor a high-performing HR and TA leadership bench, with emphasis on succession planning, development and accountability.
- Lead change management programs to enable strategic store initiatives and improve leader–employee relationships; travel to stores and regional meetings as required (~10%).
- 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including significant responsibility supporting retail or multi-site organizations.
- Proven track record advising senior leaders and influencing at the executive level on people strategy and organizational issues.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition teams in complex, matrixed environments.
- Strong competency in talent strategy, organizational transformation, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to operate with agility and manage ambiguity.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive human resources leadership experience with demonstrable success supporting retail or multi-site operations, leading HRBP and TA teams, and delivering enterprise-level HR programs that improve engagement and business outcomes.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required; advanced degree (MA/MBA) or HR certification preferred.
