Sephora Store Director

- Forecast sales and payroll with the District Manager to drive store results.
- Monitor and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly sales results to staff.
- Manage and measure the effectiveness of business strategies, adjusting plans as needed.
- Achieve store sales plans and operating profits while maintaining expenses.
- Develop strategies to grow business, leveraging customer loyalty programs and events.
- Maintain optimum store staffing levels to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Recruit, interview, and hire for all store positions according to business needs.
- Train, coach, and supervise Assistant Managers and Supervisors to develop leadership skills.
- Ensure a coaching culture with timely acknowledgment of successes and feedback on opportunities.
- Conduct inventories and maintain updated inventory records.
- Communicate inventory issues to the District Manager and key stakeholders.
- Make strategic merchandising decisions in alignment with Sephora’s concepts.
- 5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry.
- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions.
- High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and managerial courage under pressure.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to analyze sales trends and react appropriately.
5 years of management experience in the retail/service industry, with a focus on recruiting and staffing.
High School diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred.
