Sephora Software Engineer

- Design and develop scalable features for cart, checkout, and payment functionalities on the website and apps.
- Manage complex integrations for multi-tenant e-commerce systems.
- Optimize the checkout funnel to reduce abandonment and improve click-through rates.
- Build and maintain a flexible payment backend supporting various global and localized payment methods.
- Collaborate on checkout-related components such as address selection, shipping options, and fraud prevention.
- Enhance performance through metric-driven improvements like caching and query analysis.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with large-scale, complex web applications.
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining scalable APIs in production environments.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Vue, React, or Ember.
- Experience integrating payment gateways or service providers like PayPal or Adyen.
- Strong understanding of core software engineering practices including data structures, algorithms, and security.
- Ability to build engaging user interfaces.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Experience with Java, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in writing tests and ensuring code quality.
A minimum of 3 years working on large-scale, complex web applications.
A degree in computer science or equivalent work experience is preferred.
