Sephora Senior Specialist, Legal & Government Affairs

1. Provide timely, professional support on government affairs at a national level, including management of company key certificates, annual subsidy applications and energy assessments.
2. Manage network sustainability and regulatory matters for new store openings, closures and changes in persons in charge across China.
3. Drive legal process digitalization and optimisation initiatives to improve legal team efficiency and turnaround times.
4. Administer legal budget and payment processes, ensuring legal spend aligns with the company’s annual budgeting policy while meeting team requirements.
5. Act as coordinator for the legal team and serve as the primary contact window for company‑level activities and cross‑functional stakeholders.
6. Undertake ad‑hoc projects and assignments as required by the Legal and Government Affairs department.

1. Undergraduate degree from a reputable PRC university; legal qualification or law major preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience; prior experience in government affairs, public relations or corporate legal functions is preferred.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset.
4. High standards of ethics, professional integrity and confidentiality.
5. Meticulous attention to detail, reliability and the ability to learn quickly in a changing environment.
6. Solid command of English for business use.
