- Define and lead the retail communications strategy in partnership with the Director, Workforce Planning & Retail Communications, ensuring alignment with business priorities and brand voice.
- Oversee end-to-end retail communications workflows, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency from content development to execution.
- Manage the retail communication and task management platform, optimizing task assignment, messaging, and reporting.
- Lead and develop the Retail Communications team, ensuring accountability and high-quality content delivery.
- Collaborate with regional leaders and store managers to facilitate effective two-way communication.
- Design engaging storytelling to bring strategy to life and deliver through effective channels.
- Drive cross-functional engagement and culture-building initiatives, including Town Halls and Retail Conferences.
- Lead change and crisis communications, ensuring clarity and alignment during times of change.
- Embed a continuous improvement mindset, identifying gaps and opportunities in processes and content.
- Manage reporting, analytics, and insights, translating data into actionable recommendations.
- Oversee internal administrative operations, ensuring timely and effective support to stores.
- Coach and mentor team members, supporting career development and engagement.
- 5+ years of experience in leading retail or field communications in a corporate environment.
- 3+ years of people leadership experience with a proven ability to develop high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills across written, verbal, and presentation formats.
- Strong editing and copy-editing expertise with a focus on clarity and consistency.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and adjust strategies.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills in a high-volume environment.
5+ years in retail or field communications leadership, with 3+ years in people management.
Compensation ranges between CAD$126,400.00 - CAD$141,000.00, plus bonus and RRSP matching.
