Sephora Senior E-commerce Merchant

- Set and execute the e-commerce growth strategy for the dotCA portfolio, including product introductions, assortment expansion and strategic brand development.
- Own online assortment planning and merchandising for a large, strategic brand portfolio; plan promotions, product launches and site activations in partnership with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement online marketing plans across paid and owned channels (email, mobile, site) to drive sales and conversion.
- Partner with brands and the US team to align commercial strategies while advocating for Canadian market needs and dotCA‑only opportunities.
- Lead and coach a team of 2–3 direct reports, translating management direction into executable initiatives and timelines.
- Leverage data and analytics to own KPIs, optimize the on‑site experience (product detail pages, assets, merchandising) and improve conversion.
- Perform regular competitive and market analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities and consumer expectations.
- Collaborate with planning to align inventory investment with brand objectives and ensure promotional readiness.
- Bachelor's degree or college diploma in retail management or a related field; MBA is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in e‑commerce, merchandising, category management, buying or digital retail.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing small teams.
- Deep knowledge of merchandising principles, promotions, pricing strategies and online product presentation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with proven vendor relationship management.
- Familiarity with the Canadian cosmetics market and Health Canada product compliance requirements.

At least 5 years of progressive experience in e‑commerce merchandising, category management, buying or planning within retail, with proven ownership of online assortment, promotions and vendor partnerships.
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in retail management or related field; MBA considered a plus.
