Sephora Packaging Development Project Manager

- Collaborate with Marketing and Formula Development teams to create technically and financially viable packaging solutions.
- Advise the creative team on optimal design implementation.
- Work closely with Procurement to meet cost and margin targets.
- Conduct risk assessments and feasibility studies, including functionality, manufacturability, and cost analysis.
- Oversee new tooling development and validate technical drawings.
- Establish homologation plans and conduct necessary testing for success criteria validation.
- Manage aesthetic development including color matching and decoration.
- Review and approve artwork files.
- Supervise the industrialization phase and attend line trials at contract manufacturers' sites.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to provide specifications for components and finished goods.
- Approve quality standards and range boards for components and finished goods.
- Validate tertiary packaging and palletization plans for finished goods.
- Monitor project timelines and report development issues to supervisors and project managers.
- Identify and implement mitigation plans for development challenges.
- Optimize existing components to improve quality, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability.
- Support sustainability programs specifically related to packaging.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical packaging roles, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as packaging, chemistry, or mechanical engineering.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced project environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English communication.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Minimum of 3 years in technical packaging roles, ideally within the beauty industry.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
