Sephora Loss Prevention Specialist

1. Protect store assets against theft and work with the Leadership team to maintain operational controls to reduce shortage.
2. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and utilize CCTV to identify, observe, and deter external theft.
3. Adhere to laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and evidence preservation.
4. Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits.
5. Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers.
6. Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases.
7. Provide new hire and continuous employee training on loss prevention awareness.
8. Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections.
9. Communicate findings to store Leadership team and District Loss Prevention Manager.
10. Assist with inventory preparation and process, and partner with stores and DLPM in shrinkage prevention plans.

1. 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
2. Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements as required by province or local jurisdiction.
3. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
4. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques.
5. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.
6. High School graduate or equivalent.
7. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Availability to work at multiple locations within a market.

CAD$19.70 - CAD$23.20/hr
