Sephora Canada — Interim Store Manager (6-month contract) in Edmonton: lead store operations, coaching and client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store performance for Store Operations, Beauty Services or the sales floor (Stage), ensuring commercial objectives are met.
  • Coach, develop and motivate Leads, Advisors and Consultants through consistent feedback, training and performance management.
  • Deliver and facilitate onboarding and selling-model training sessions for new and existing Beauty Advisors.
  • Serve regularly as the Client Experience Lead (CEL), respond to client feedback via Medallia and address service issues promptly.
  • Support annual performance reviews, manage performance improvement plans and participate in all people-related decision-making.
  • Ensure visual merchandising and sales-floor presentation meet brand standards; manage tester and supply levels and execute visual updates.
  • Coordinate with in-store brand representatives to ensure effective product training and provide feedback on training quality.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–4 years of management experience in beauty, retail or customer service, or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven track record of coaching teams to achieve sales and service metrics; metrics-driven with strong commercial acumen.
  • Demonstrated managerial courage and the ability to deliver difficult feedback while preserving team engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Proficiency with Medallia (client feedback) and standard office tools (Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to bend, stretch and lift up to 50 pounds in a retail environment.

Experience
