Sephora Human Resources Specialist

- Serve as a point of contact for workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Administer Leave of Absence and accommodation requests, facilitating smooth transitions for employees returning to work.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries, open enrollment, and other general support, escalating issues as necessary.
- Manage unemployment claims, compiling documentation and tracking resolutions.
- Extract and analyze data to create reports supporting HR operations.
- Conduct audits of HR files and records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Process employee status changes, including internal movements and terminations.
- Collaborate in post-accident and pre-employment screening processes.
- Ensure timely processing of I-9 reverifications and maintain compliance with employment laws.
- Provide support for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with internal communications, employee recognition programs, and incentive initiatives.
- Support New Hire Orientation sessions and payroll processing as needed.
- 2+ years of relevant Human Resources experience, preferably in a distribution center or manufacturing facility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems such as Dayforce and SharePoint.
- Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously.
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and respond proactively.
A minimum of 2 years in a Human Resources role, ideally within a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
The annual base salary ranges from $55,250 to $61,750, with potential eligibility for bonuses.
