Sephora Digital & E-Commerce Legal Counsel

- Advise the Digital France, EME, and Global teams on remote sales, consumer law, and IT law requirements.
- Analyze and frame omnichannel projects and promotions, ensuring legal risk assessment, data protection, and AI considerations.
- Review online sales processes from website or mobile app access to post-purchase, focusing on legal notices, payment tools, and fraud prevention.
- Draft, analyze, and review all contractual documentation, including general terms and conditions and information notices.
- Negotiate and draft various IT contracts, including licenses, software, services, maintenance, and hardware, supporting digital projects.
- Coordinate with local legal teams for the implementation of digital projects initiated by EME and Global teams.
- Manage mediation requests and support customer service in handling specific inquiries.
- Onboard new team members and provide ongoing legal training to Digital teams.
- Conduct diverse legal studies, including research and memo writing for operational or internal clients.
- Oversee and prevent litigation or disputes.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a legal counsel or lawyer.
- Master's degree in New Technologies Law, Digital Law, Contract Law, and/or CAPA.
- Strong knowledge of digital/e-commerce laws, online sales, IT law, digital law, and data protection.
- Ability to manage files autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Capacity to identify issues in complex topics, alert stakeholders, and resolve problems.
- Interest in innovation and digital trends.
- Excellent English proficiency, both written and spoken.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a legal counsel or lawyer role.
Master's degree in relevant legal fields such as New Technologies Law, Digital Law, or Contract Law.
