- Develop and adjust weekly sales forecasts by analyzing various sales-influencing factors such as events and economic conditions.
- Ensure forecast alignment with sales trends and seasonality.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and optimize sales forecasting models and methods.
- Validate historical data and document exceptional sales occurrences.
- Develop strategies for managing forecasts of phased-out or overstocked products.
- Analyze the impact of promotions on sales and determine stock requirements.
- Manage new product launches and 'one-shot' items within the forecasting tool.
- Participate in meetings with local Supply Chain teams to coordinate market activities and sales performance.
- Align sales forecasts with purchasing budgets and simulate demand scenarios.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of forecasting processes and supply chain efficiency.
- Participate in the rollout of a new sales forecasting tool.
- Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, preferably in retail.
- Strong analytical skills and numerical data proficiency.
- Proactive and rigorous approach to work.
- Dynamic team player with a positive attitude.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Fluent in English for effective stakeholder interaction.
Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, with a preference for candidates with retail experience.
Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
