1. Design, develop, optimize, and maintain SQL Server environments.
2. Deliver scalable database architectures, including data modeling and performance optimization.
3. Manage SQL Server administration tasks such as installation, configuration, monitoring, tuning, patching, and upgrades.
4. Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
5. Develop backup, recovery, and business continuity strategies.
6. Ensure database security through access controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.
7. Design and optimize advanced SQL and T-SQL solutions.
8. Work with XML and JSON data structures for data manipulation.
9. Monitor database health and diagnose performance issues.
10. Build and maintain SSIS packages and ETL processes.
11. Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and Agile teams for database expertise and query optimization.

1. Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.

1. Expert T-SQL proficiency and advanced query optimization skills.
2. Experience with XML and JSON data structures.
3. Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues.
4. Understanding of relational database design and high-transaction workloads.
5. Expertise in backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
6. Experience with PowerShell, GitHub, and Redgate tools.
7. Strong grounding in Windows Server fundamentals relevant to SQL Server.
8. Experience troubleshooting across database and OS layers.
9. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and ORM-generated SQL.

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server in fast-paced, production environments.
