Sephora Cashier

1. Deliver welcoming, efficient and policy-compliant customer service at the cash desk, including engaging customers during the transaction and encouraging participation in satisfaction surveys.
2. Execute all cash-handling activities with precision: opening and closing till procedures, daily reconciliations, employee transactions and approved cancellations/price adjustments.
3. Operate the point-of-sale system to complete sales, returns and exchanges; ensure accurate packaging (including gift wrap) and documentation of transactions.
4. Adhere strictly to Sephora and LVMH codes of conduct, loss-prevention protocols and procedures for sample distribution and special events.
5. Maintain store presentation standards at the checkout and support backstage organisation (stock, staff lockers, kitchen, restrooms).
6. Monitor and communicate supply needs (bags, packaging, labels) to the Supervisor and assist in reducing operating costs without compromising service quality.
7. Participate in mandatory training modules via My Sephora Learning and assist in onboarding and training new cashiers.

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum three years of retail or cashier/cash-handling experience preferred.
3. Proven customer-service orientation, clear verbal communication and strong organisational skills.
4. Ability to operate a point-of-sale system and perform basic computer tasks.
5. Availability and flexibility to work retail hours; reliable, professional presentation and adherence to dress code.
