- Adhere to all customer service policies and procedures as per Sephora's standards.
- Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Accurately and efficiently process transactions, including gift wrapping and handling returns/exchanges.
- Engage customers in appropriate conversations during transactions and provide basic store and product information as needed.
- Encourage customer participation in satisfaction surveys.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cashier area and assist in backstage maintenance.
- Execute all Sephora policies and procedures with precision.
- Contribute to store safety standards and communicate area needs to the Supervisor.
- Assist in reducing company expenses without compromising service and standards.
- Complete daily cashier and operational functions, including opening and closing procedures, returns/exchanges, and supply needs communication.
- Participate in My Sephora Learning training programs and assist in training new cashiers.
- Previous experience as a cashier is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Logical reasoning.
- Experience with cash handling is desirable.
- Basic computer skills are desirable.
Beginner level experience is acceptable, with a preference for prior cashier experience.
