Rolex Technical Specialist - Machining

1. Develop machining processes for new materials and assist in resolving complex machinability issues.
2. Prepare and conduct machinability tests on milling machines and dynamic milling machines, focusing on coatings, cutting conditions, tool geometry, and force measurement.
3. Program and operate machining and measurement equipment within a dedicated R&D equipment cell, including CNC equipment, instrumented fixtures, and 3D scanning.
4. Propose instrumentation strategies to enhance understanding of machining processes.
5. Analyze and identify potential root causes in problematic production situations, such as premature tool wear, high cycle times, and aesthetic variability.
6. Process, interpret, and present the results obtained from tests and analyses.

1. CFC in mechanics, micromechanics, or equivalent training, with additional training in milling.
2. Confirmed experience of at least 5 years in a milling reference role within precision mechanics.

1. Knowledge of CNC programming is advantageous.

A minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in a milling reference role within precision mechanics is required.
