Rolex Automation Technician Apprentice (CFC)

1. Participate in the development, installation, assembly and commissioning of electrical control systems for automated equipment (robots, production machinery, technical building installations).
2. Develop and program machine control solutions at a computer workstation under supervision; apply principles of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
3. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of automation systems both in the workshop and on client/production sites.
4. Follow formal apprenticeship curriculum under the guidance of experienced trainers and document work according to company standards.
5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe machine operation and to support continuous improvement of production processes.

1. Demonstrated interest and aptitude in mathematics, physics and technical drawing.
2. Logical, methodical approach to problem solving and strong conceptualisation skills.
3. Good manual dexterity and comfort working with mechanical and electrical assemblies.
