Rolex Automation Technician Apprentice (CFC)

- Participate in the development, installation, assembly and commissioning of electrical control systems for automated equipment (robots, production machinery, technical building installations).
- Develop and program machine control solutions at a computer workstation under supervision; apply principles of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of automation systems both in the workshop and on client/production sites.
- Follow formal apprenticeship curriculum under the guidance of experienced trainers and document work according to company standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe machine operation and to support continuous improvement of production processes.
- Demonstrated interest and aptitude in mathematics, physics and technical drawing.
- Logical, methodical approach to problem solving and strong conceptualisation skills.
- Good manual dexterity and comfort working with mechanical and electrical assemblies.

No prior professional experience required; suitable for school-leavers or recent secondary-school graduates with technical interest. Practical workshop exposure or relevant school projects is advantageous.
Completed compulsory schooling (secondary school) or equivalent; eligibility to enrol in a Swiss CFC apprenticeship programme in automation/industrial automation.
